  2. Katie graduated in 1991 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in Marketing Management and a minor in French.  Katie and her husband Nick started farming in 1998 with a feeder to finish operation in Potosi, Wisconsin.  Nick and Katie because producers for Eden Farms in 2001 with their 90 head farrow-to-finish operation in Lancaster, WI.
  3. Nick and Katie have three children ages 12, 10, and 3.  While Nick was serving 14 months in Iraq, Katie continued the farm operations by switching to farrow to feeder operation.  Katie also took over Nick’s Independent Consulting business for 3 months until the contract was satisfied.
  4. Katie has been very involved with their children’s schools. She chartered Home and School Association (PTA) at Sts. Andrew-Thomas School in Potosi, WI and served as it’s president.  She also volunteered as a teacher’s assistant.  Katie served as the co-chairperson for Potosi parish’s Fall Festival and they are a member of St. Clement Church in Lancaster, WI.
