Eden Farms Berkshire Pork Producer Dan Helgen Takes Top Honors at the American Berkshire Association 2006 Annual Meeting In Springfield Illinois
STATE CENTER, IOWA–July 25, 2006–Eden Farms pork producer Dan Helgen of Litchfield Illinois has been nationally recognized by the American Berkshire Association as the top transferrer of registered Berkshire hogs. Each year the American Berkshire Association honors the top producer for selling the most registered Berkshire breeding stock in the United States. Helgen gained additional recognition as the top recorder of Berkshires in the State of Illinois. Helgen was seventh highest recorder in the United States overall.
